Thanks! Don’t forget the G7 was replaced by the G9 last year – and we do of course have a full review of it at the Cameralabs . com website!

You provide a great service, especially for those of us in the market for a DSLR. Thanks for all your hard work!

I was wondering how bad you think the shutter lag is. I’ve read camera reviews that say it’s bad. But how bad is bad?

Yet another spot-on review. I imagine photography is big in a country where almost every view is stunning and memorable.

Just one question. The woman with the little walk-on cameo, and who’s also in almost every gallery at your website…who is she?

Hi Splaiish, it’s very unusual for a DSLR to use its screen for taking photos, but there are some models which can do it: the Panasonic L1 (see our video), Olympus E-330 (an old model), Olympus E-410 and E-510 (new models coming soon), and the Fujifilm S5 Pro and Canon 1D Mark III (both Professional models). So the best bet look like the new Olympus E-410 and E-510 and we’ll review them soon! Note, none of them will record video though.

I was wondering if there are any DSLR’s where you don’t have to use the veiwfinder to see the picture you are taking.

excellent review, im keeping my old 10D. Instead of purchasing the g7 i might splash out on a 24-100 L IS lens

I have a powershot G7. You just have to keep the iso speed at 400 or below to maintain noise free images!

Very well done amigo! I have had the G7 (upgraded from S1 IS) for one week now. I love it, and your review taught me a few things about my new camera which I did not know about. Thank you.
